WHO ARE WE ?

Sandbox Consulting was founded by Nick Cook in 2021.

Nick has worked across the public and private sectors, with particular depth in financial services regulation, innovation, and data. He has led and advised on programmes spanning innovation strategy, regulatory transformation, data capability, and experimentation — working with regulators, central banks, professional services firms, non-profits, and technology companies internationally.

Nick previously led innovation and data strategy programmes at the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and is widely recognised for his work in regulatory innovation and RegTech.

His work combines analytical rigour with a strong interest in psychology, human-centred design, and how institutions learn and change over time.
